Nelson Bay Bed and Breakfast is a modern B&B (which was purpose built), (more like a boutique motel) with the Bed and Breakfast backing onto a peaceful bushland reserve, rich in birdlife.

Our B &B is an award winning business receiving excellent awards from Trip Advisor in 2013 and 2014. We pride ourselves on our "AAA" 4 1/2 star rating.

After operating now for 11 years our local knowledge helps our guests to get the best from visiting Port Stephens. We like our guests to feel as if it's your home-away-from-home.

Nelson Bay Bed & Breakfast is located just a 1km walk into Nelson Bay's CBD, Marina, Restaurants, shops, but has the added bonus of peaceful bushland reserve at the rear of property. An award winning business achieving excellent awards in 2013 and 2014 from Trip Advisor.

The Bed & Breakfast section is separate to your hosts residence with it own entrance (more like a boutique motel)

There are 3 bedrooms all with queen bed, en-suite and balconies, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities. Two bedroom's have Spa's. Tomaree room has a 2 person sunken Spa on its private enclosed balcony. Yacaaba room has a 2 person side-by-side on its private enclosed balcony. Candles are provided for a romantic get away.All rooms have reverse cycle Air Conditioning, ceiling fans, TV, DVD players with Foxtel (all channels).

Your comfortable queen bed ensures a good nights rest , wake to our delicious breakfast of fresh fruit salad, juices, cereals, yoghurts and homemade breads. There is also a coffee machine for our guests to use. A full cooked breakfast is available at an additional fee.. Tea, coffee and cookie selections are always available in the lounge/dining area.

The comfortable lounge area has a gas fired log heater to keep you warm on cooler winter nights. BBQ facilities are available on the deck adjoining the lounge room. Guests often request breakfast on the deck area to enjoy the morning sun, bushland aspect.

Clean towels and service of your room is available on request. (no additional charge)

Free high speed wireless internet and business office. We are happy to book restaurants, tours, etc. with discounts being available on some tours. For those guests that have not been to Nelson Bay before after you have settle into your room, Trish is happy to go through all the wonderful walks, tours, etc. to ensure you get the best experience possible whilst staying in Nelson Bay. We are a "AAA" 4 1/2 rating business.

Directions

A pleasant 2.5 hour drive from Sydney CBD on the F3, and less than 45 minutes from Newcastle. At the end of the F3 follow signs east for Hexham/Nelson Bay/Taree. At Hexham cross the bridge then continue toward Raymond Terrace. Proceed through the roundabout at Heatherbrae and around 2 km beyond look for the left branch off to Richardson Road (signposted Nelson Bay). Take this and turn right at the round-about then proceed forward. This will take you around the Grahamstown Reservoir. Proceed toward Nelson Bay on this road (for about 15 minutes); continue to the Mobil Service Centre and Saxbys Bakery. Continue following signs to Nelson Bay (approx 30 kms). On entering the 60 kms zone proceed for 1 km, you will now enter the 50km zone, continue for approximately 200 meteres, then turn right into Stockton Street (a service road with Blue B & B sign on post) this will lead you to 81 Stockton Street.
If coming from north toward Raymond Terrace look for Richardson Road turn off, signposted Nelson Bay and turn left, now follow directions as above from around Grahamstown Reservoir.
